Steven Sewall

Violinist Steven Sewall is a VIP founding member of the LSCO, currently a member of the 1st violin section. In his own words about his life with LSCO:
“I moved to Sudbury in the fall of 1972 and started playing in the orchestra a year after it started in the fall of 1973.I was intrigued by the fact that half the members were high school students and half were adults of surrounding communities. This arrangement continued for many years and it was fun to watch the students progress musically and to play with them. Much to my chagrin a rule was passed that students could no longer receive credit for this after school activity. The orchestra has become mostly adults. Nonetheless, the L-S orchestra has given me the incentive, inspiration and challenge to continue my hobby of playing the violin for all these years and has introduced me to much great orchestra repertoire. Being a part of this group has greatly enriched my life.”
Thank you Steven for your 50 years of dedication to LSCO!
